Staff Retreat held at Juneberry Ridge

On Friday, August 5th , Gray Stone staff and administration enjoyed a day-long retreat to Juneberry Ridge located in Norwood, NC to kick-off the 2022-2023 school year.
Juneberry Ridge provides ample meeting spaces while offering an ideal environment to work on team building.
The retreat was an opportunity to integrate new staff members while also reenergizing current staff for the upcoming year.
During the morning session, staff enjoyed outdoor activities such as clay shooting, archery, hiking trails, landscaping and greenhouse tours led by the Juneberry Ridge staff.
Molly Barker, founder of Girls on the Run International, a running and life skills program, led the afternoon session filled with team building games and activities.
Barker shared her own experiences of working with children and incorporated those stories into activities that help to motivate the work culture and foster relationships.
