Gray Stone ranks in US News and World Reports Best High Schools

US News and World Report has released the 2021 rankings for the Best High Schools in America. Gray Stone Day School ranked #820 out of 24,000 public high schools in the nation.
It ranked #164 nationally out of 2,845 charter high schools and #24 out of all public high schools in North Carolina.
These scores are based on the 2019-2020 school year.
Even with the country shut down because of the pandemic, Gray Stone has still maintained a strong standard of excellence.
For a small rural school in North Carolina, we are certainly able to compete with schools coming from urban areas.
I am very proud of all the resilience and hard work students and teachers have shown,” said Helen Nance, Chief Administrative Officer.
