The Lance is an organization whose purpose is to support and enhance programs at Gray Stone in three main areas: academic, athletic, and social. Funds raised through membership dues and other events will be used to finance such projects as: speaker fees and teacher support, athletic team equipment assistance and awards/banquet costs; financial support to athletic and academic camps and activities, social events such as dances, and receptions for events like honor society inductions. With such huge financial obligations and goals, we need your help. Membership fee is only $25.00 per family. We ask every family to join the Lance. We hope that by having significant membership, fund raising events can be held to a minimum. An executive committee made up of Gray Stone Day School parents and faculty oversees the activities of The Lance. Please check the Meetings Page for updated dates and times. Volunteers are needed to be part of this team! The Lance is the only parent organization established at the school and plans to incorporate every aspect of the educational process at Gray Stone including academic, athletic, and social activities. To make Gray Stone all that it can be, we must support the students and teachers in a meaningful way. To enhance the learning experience and the valuable life lessons gained through athletics is a lofty goal. The Lance hopes to do just that, but it will need your support to accomplish this goal.
