Driver's Education
Gray Stone participates in the Driver's Education program supported by the state.  As with all other schools in Stanly County, Mr. Marvin Smith and his Driving School contract to provide this service.  The class is typically taught on campus at Gray Stone twice per year and students are placed in these classes based on their birthdays.  The class lasts for 10 days at 2.5 hours per day.  Following the classroom portion of the program, students are then registered for a driving portion which usually lasts three days.  Students need to be aware of other after school obligations and try to minimize conflicts as much as possible.  This is not a Gray Stone program and as such Gray Stone holds no responsibility in ensuring that students get registered for the class they desire.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Sherrill in the Guidance Office or Marvin Smith's Driving School.
