AP Physics Students Collect Data

AP Physics StudentsThe AP Physics students at Gray Stone Day School spent their class time last Friday collecting data in a not-so-usual way. Students used an inflatable slide from All for Fun to collect data of objects accelerating down an inclined plane.  Students will use this data over the next couple weeks as they study uniform acceleration, gravity and friction. Students also had the opportunity to collect data from falling objects as their principal, Jeff Morris, dropped balls of different size off the roof of the school.

Ms. Almond said, "It was a fun and unique way to engage the students in the learning."
