Gray Stone Wins State Championship in Women’s Golf

PINEHURST, N.C. – Foxfire Resort’s Grey Fox Course saw First Flight’s Katherine Schuster win her second straight 1A/2A Women’s Individual Championship cruising past the field by four strokes. Gray Stone Day rose to their first-ever team title in Women’s Golf by holding off Raleigh Charter by ten shots on the final day.

Board Approves Academic Calendar for 2018-2019

The Gray Stone Board of Directors has approved the 2018-2019 Academic Calendar. The schedule includes orientation days for rising 6th and 9th graders as well as E-Weeks for all grade levels. The use of iLearning Days will enable students to work from home on a couple of occasions further bolstering the digital literacy objectives of the school.

The school was fortunate to have Allyson Seigel of Charlotte, NC donate many desks and bookshelves for the classroom as well as an Armour the school is using as a supply closet. Her generosity has saved the school several thousand dollars and we cannot thank her enough. It is because of donations like this that our school is able to provide students in a rural area with great opportunities.
