PROSPECTIVE STUDENT NIGHT
All prospective students & their parents are invited to the Pfeiffer University
Chapel tomorrow night (3/11) at 7:00pm
to learn more about Gray Stone!
SAT PRACTICE TEST
All 10th & 11th graders will be taking a free SAT practice
test administered by The Princeton Review
tomorrow (3/11) from
9:00am-1:00pm in both Jane Freeman 200 & Stokes Community Room.
PARKING STICKERS A few are still available in the office for $75 each; first come,
first serve.
SPRING DANCE to be held this
Saturday (3/13) from 7:30pm-10:30pm in the Stokes Community Room.
Dance tickets may be purchased in the office for $7 or $10 at the door.
All guests are $15 & must be signed up by
tomorrow (3/11).
MATH 24 The Mu Alpha
Theta Club of Gray Stone will host the 2010 Math 24 competition on Friday (3/12)
at 9:00am in the Harris building for 7th & 8th grade
gifted math students.
ECOLOGY CLUB will meet after school on Tuesday, March 16th in Room
105. Topics discussed will be: fund raising, club trip, Earth Day
Celebration. Please attend!
“ALL-ACADEMY DAY” to be held on
Saturday, March 27th at 10:00am at the
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center.
This event is jointly sponsored by the five U.S. service academies –
representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, & Merchant Marine – with
support from our Congressional offices.
All interested students, parents, counselors, school officials, &
community leaders are strongly encouraged to attend, to learn more about the
education & career opportunities offered by the military service academies, as
well as the application process. The application period for current high
school juniors will open later this spring.
2010-2011 APPLICATIONS Applications are still being accepted and will only be admitted as openings become available.
