The Harris Building reopened on August 6.
FRESHMAN PREP Wednesday, August 13 - Thursday, August 14 from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM and Friday, August 15 from 8:30 AM-2:30 PM (lunch provided on Friday only). Through this program you will gain a better understanding of how things work at Gray Stone and will also receive your schedule, planner and textbooks. BACK TO SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE Tuesday, August 19 at 7:30 PM (note the time change) in Merner Gym located on Pfeiffer University's campus. This will be an opportunity for all Gray Stone students to meet the teachers and to hear about the new school year. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the program for students attending the school for the first time.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL Wednesday, August 20 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon (no lunch served). Students will meet with all of their teachers and find out what materials they need to bring to class. Students taking online courses will learn what books they need to purchase for the class and other pertinent information. Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22 will be from 8:00 AM until 2:40 PM with students attending all six classes both days. Gray Stone's modified schedule will begin on Monday, August 25.

The senior link is where seniors and their parents should look first for important dates, events, and deadlines throughout the year. The regular daily announcements will update you when something new has been posted. IT'S A GIRL! Mrs. Shannon Lisk's baby girl arrived on Saturday, July 12. Jameson Blair Lisk weighed 7lbs. 4oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Mrs. Lisk and Jameson are doing great!

REPORT CARDS have been mailed out along with an informative newsletter. Report cards were only sent to students who turned in all books & paid all fines/fees.
SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENTS All students: be sure to check the website to see if you have a summer reading assignment (under Students).
