M.Ed. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill

It is Mrs. Manning's desire to help students become the best possible version of themselves. She does this by providing a comprehensive school counseling program that is both responsive and preventative. Her initiatives are designed to meet the academic, personal, social, and career needs of the students to help them develop into lifelong citizens and learners.

Academic Support: Mrs. Manning provides resources about study skills, note taking, test taking, organizational strategies, motivation, and peer tutoring.

Social/Emotional Support: Mrs. Manning acts as a resource for students needing mentorship or experiencing friendship problems, anxiety, depression, grief, difficulty transitioning, or even just having a bad day.

Students who wish to see Mrs. Manning can stop by her office before or after school or during their lunch period. They can also send her an email to set up an appointment during the school day. In the event of an emergency or a pressing need, students should ask their teachers to call and see if Mrs. Manning is available.
