Academic Profile

Gray Stone Day School is a public charter school serving grades 6 through 12.  The mission of the school is to prepare students for post-secondary university options.  To achieve this mission, the curriculum at Gray Stone is purposely focused on appropriately scaffolded work to ensure students can effectively communicate, creatively solve problems, produce quality work, self-manage their learning, and responsibly use information while contributing to their community.  Courses in the upper grades are limited to Honors and Advanced Placement courses where that option exists and middle grades courses are taught on an Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Level.

The addition of the middle grades occurred in the fall of 2017.
