Welcome to Gray Stone Athletics. As a school focused on academics and centered on preparing students to compete with students from competitive, urban education systems once they get to college, it is important for us to make sure that students have an opportunity to compete in athletics. Students need the opportunity to learn the valuable life lessons that come from participation in sports and gain valuable leadership and interpersonal skills. Gray Stone competes in the Yadkin Valley 1A Conference of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association which is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. Our goal is to provide competitive opportunities in a character-centered atmosphere. Students interested in participating in athletics at Gray Stone must meet minimum eligibility standards. For more information about these standards, please visit our eligibility page. Sports are divided into three seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
