A variety of courses are offered on an individualized basis through Pfeiffer University, the community college system, UNCG iSchool, and the North Carolina Virtual Public School

All courses offered are at the honors level where so designated by the state as possible. The school serves ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders. Consistent with the school's charter and mission statement, Gray Stone Day School offers the NC Academic Scholars Program as its curriculum. Part of the uniqueness of partnering with Pfeiffer University is the ability of high school students to take college courses. This will mostly be offered to eleventh and twelfth graders.
