TEACHING POSITIONS

Social Studies Teacher (18-19 School Year)
Science Teacher (6-8) (18-19 School Year)

Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating high level of content knowledge and pedagogy.  Preference will be given to teachers with a minimum of 3 years experience and appropriate NC licensure. 


ADMINISTRATIVE & SUPPORT POSITIONS

School Counselor (18-19 School Year)
Candidates must be able to work independently and autonomously to direct a school counseling program with services to include academic support as well as social and emotional counseling.  Successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop student and parent programs.  Preference will be given to individuals with three years of counseling experience and current counseling certification from an approved program.

Director of Technology (18-19 School Year)
Candidates must be able to work independently and problem solve.  The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of technological skills including basic networking concepts to meet the service requests of the school as well as the skills necessary to support teachers with instructional tools and resources as is appropriate and necessary.

Exceptional Children’s Teacher Assistant
Will perform, under general supervision, a variety of technical and clerical tasks in assisting a teacher of students with disabilities. Person will be responsible for managing, scheduling, and administering accommodations for classroom, state, and national assessments, including recording tests for “read aloud.” Person will be responsible for assisting in preparation of special education documentation and forms, including, but not limited to, maintaining standardized records and documentation concerning the progress of students. The individual must stay abreast of methods of adapting instruction and confidentiality regulations.

 

EXTRA CURRICULAR POSITIONS

Gray Stone is always searching for qualified individuals to lead athletic teams, academic teams, and other school sponsored activities.
