• Welcome to Gray Stone Athletics
  

• As a school focused on academics and centered on preparing students to compete
  with students from competitive, urban education systems once they get to college,
  it is important for us to make sure that students have an opportunity to compete in
  athletics.  Students need the opportunity to learn the valuable life lessons that come
  from participation in sports and gain valuable leadership and interpersonal skills.

  
  

  Gray Stone competes in the Yadkin Valley 1A Conference of the North Carolina
  High School Athletic Association which is a member of the National Federation of
  State High School Associations.

• The Lance
  
• The Lance is an organization whose purpose is to support and enhance programs
  at Gray Stone in three main areas: academic, athletic, and social.  Funds raised
  through membership dues and other events will be used to finance such projects
  as: speaker fees and teacher support, athletic team equipment assistance and
  awards/banquet costs; financial support to athletic and academic camps and
  activities, social events such as dances, and receptions for events like honor
  society inductions.  With such huge financial obligations and goals, we need your help.  Membership fee is only $25.00 per family.  We ask every family to join the Lance.
