About Us
Latimer Selected as Morehead-Cain Finalist
Gray Stone Day School is very proud to announce that Hunter Latimer has been selected as a finalist for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship at UNC Chapel Hill. Only a small percentage of nominees are named finalists (125 out of 1,900+). Hunter will participate in a comprehensive weekend program on campus in February, including interviews with scholarship committee members and interaction with current Morehead-Cain Scholars and UNC faculty. About 60 Morehead-Cain Scholars will be selected in March. We wish Hunter the best of luck as she enters the final stretch of the competition!
