Gray Stone Day School is proud to announce that we have selected Ashley Lambert as our school representative for the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Good Citizen Award.  Each high school in Stanly County is invited to choose a senior to represent them in the competition.  Ashley was selected for her outstanding academic achievement and for embodying the DAR’s contest criteria of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.  She will write a timed essay on a historical topic as part of the contest.  Next month Ashley will read her essay at the Albemarle DAR’s meeting where the local level winner will be announced.  We wish her the best of luck!
